Dinghy Instructor Course

The RYA Dinghy Instructor Course is an RYA qualification that enables you to teach the next generation of sailors.  You would be qualified to teach Adult RYA Level 1-3, and RYA Youth stage 1-4.  The course covers the RYA method and how to apply it to teaching sailing.

If a career in teaching sailing is your direction, then this is the first step.

This is the required qualification for anyone who wishes to teach dinghy sailing. The course teaches you how to teach the RYA syllabus and how to be a successful instructor. It looks at communication styles and teaching methods, that allow you to enable every student to reach their potential.

Our location at Piddinghoe lake is a great place to run this type of course, being able to deliver course theory on land, then practical on the water with a debrief back on land, with in minutes is key for a smooth learning experience.
